New family member!
Well I gone and done it! I ended up with a new puppy in the household. Now I swore up and down that this time around, I would research the breeds that I like, actually go and buy the type of dog that I felt would fit our family the best and move forward from there. So what happens.....Neighbors dog, who is a jack russell and beagle mix, ends up mating with a big black stray dog and puppies result. My DH tells me that I really should go next door and see them since they are so cute. I refuse....A week passes and here DH is again urging me to go look and see how cute the pups are and how big they are getting. I again refuse and tell him, " you know what will happen if I look at them" So... a day or so later, here comes DH carrying a little 4 week old runt of a puppy! Love at first site.....Flash forward to 6 weeks of age, said puppy comes into my house. ( I would have prefered to leave her with mamma for another 2 weeks but mamma wanted nothing to do with the little one) Molly has the beagle face but with the most startling blue eyes I have ever seen. She has ticking on the body so I think the pappa must have had some husky, English springer spaniel or blue tick hound in him. She is a stubborn, chewy, attached little beast and I just love her already! Wish me luck...been wuite aehile since I house trained a pup or anything!

Congrats on the new puppy!
Zoey, in my avatar, is a Jack Russell mix and she has so much energy ~ she exhausts, LOL. She's my DD's dog and they both moved into an apartment a couple of weeks ago and I really miss that little dog (the DD, too, LOL!)Nancy

Aww, that Molly is a smart one for batting her baby blues. Pooch power!
