    Default Geez, my dog just almost did himself in!

    Poor Baxter! He is so protective of dd and I when dh isn't home. I was eating lunch (chicken soup) and feeding him a piece of chicken when.....

    the mailman came to the door!!!! He started attack mode, and almost choked to death! He got it coughed up, all the while jumping around like he was going to kill someone! He is resting now, too much excitement for one day!

    I am glad he is ok but chicken bones aren't good for dogs since they can splinter and cause havoc inside the dogs mouth, JMHO.

    It was a piece of chicken from the soup, no bones in it. I never give him any bones, they make him sick.
