I'm driving my poodle to the edge
She has the weirdest thing about change of any kind.... She gets all wigged out. I have a huge mess b/c of painting and re-lining the shelves. I've had to empty the cabinets out, a 'set' at a time, with all the stuff out on the counter tops....I have some boxes with culled items in them, sitting in the living room floor to be carried to the thrift store. Heidi comes down the hall, looks around and slinks back to the bedroom with her tail tucked. She started this when I had the floors done 2 years ago. I honestly think she had a poodle break down.
It's kinda sad but there's nothing I can do. Thankfully I'm almost finished with the painting and when the contractor comes to work on the bar and cabinet I'll have her taken to my ddad's to save her the stress of it all..... .
Poor thing, I really feel sorry for her but it can't be helped. The painting must go on! (Thank GOODness it's almost over, I'm pooped!)

Aww poor Heidi. Everything go ok at the groomers? I know she's not happy when she doesn't get a good cut.

A bad hair day on top of the home demo might be more than she can deal with, thinking too that her ears might be a bit sensitive to the words coming out of your mouth as you get rid of old paper etc too. She may think your swearing at her & not the cabinets.
And don't try & tell me a few questionable words haven't been uttered from your lips.
Her going over to your Dads and finding herself a nice sun spot to lay in may be just what she needs. Give her a scratch behind the ears for me!~*Darlene*~

Why Darlene, whatever are you talking about?! (Honestly, I haven't been cursing and carrying on....just taking my time....) She just hates change of any kind.....I think she's a weenie dog with curly hair (a great haircut though....
