What did you name your pets?

I'm bored this morning & thought that I would throw a few questions at everyone.lol.
What kind of pets do you have & what did you name them?

We have 2 siberian huskies the female is a cream color & her name is Asia, the male is a common black & white & his name is Dakota
then there are our rabbits:
the bucks are :Kenshin(mini-rex),Casper(New Zealand White), Bandit(blue-eyed dwarf Hotot), Jack(Californian), Asche(cross dwarf), Oreo(cross dwarf)
the does are: Ebony(cross dwarf),Charcoal(mixed dwarf),Kaoru(mini-rex),Blue(cross dwarf),Mopsey(mini-rex/californian),Tinkerbell(NZ White),Sugar Bunny(NZ White),Chloe(Californian)

We have one dog (spotted mutt) and her name is Mae--she was named when we got her.

husky--Kia, she was named that by the shelter we adopted from

chihuahua--is Bentley because I thought the name fit him to a "T"

black cat--Britney, the kids named her after "Brittany Spears"

orange cat--Ginger, she was named that by the shelter

parakeet--Take Down, he is my husbands and he is a wrestling coach

rats--only the kids can tell you their names, I can't keep them straight

Our golden was named Kona after a place we loved when we lived Hawaii; our lab is named Skipper because my DH was the commander of a ship when we got him; and I have no idea how DD's dog got the name Zoey but it suits her to a T

Oh goodness, to many to name, some of my favorites though:

Daisy Mae, Lil Abner, Sadie and Mabel the rat terriers (ran out of little abner names so named mabel after the judge on divorce court)

Cooter the barn dog, Cleotis the bloodhound. Larry the cat, he was one of a litter we named eenie, meenie, meinie, moe and larry

Some of the horse names, just stable names, not the registered names are: Leo, Puddin, Domi, Prime, Funky, Dex, Bax, Night, Floyd, TC, Shooter, Sparky, Sam, BJ, Pistol, Cody, Tucker, Romeo, Cowboy, Norman, Traveller, Carl, Louie, Reuben, Malcolm, Monny, Tommy.

The girls: Doe, Storm, Nugget, Oreo, Lena, Foxy, Flicka, Liz, Penny, Beans, Cookie, Girlie, Baby, Lisa, Lucy, Prissy, Sweetie, Prinny Sue, Jazz, Ming, Angel, Sundae, Tiffie, Keelie.. And so on, lol.

The registered names are actually fun and fun to come up with, like "Play that funky music" because he's a cremello, pure white with pink skin and blue eyes.

The cattle right now are Slider the bull and Blizzard and Lois the cows.

A few of the chickens and turkeys have names: Beep, bernice, gimpy, timothy.

Oh, and the barn cats

We have Wobbles, Slim, Snot, Sally and Aunt Kitty.

And yes, I do keep them all straight

We have two dogs, Bear and River
Hamster- Hammy, Rabbit - Oreo, birds-Elvis and Shoestring (my son named it), Fish-Cavie (another son original)

Our rotty is Freya. Snow and White are our kittens they are solid white. And Pandora is our older kitty.

I don't know why I named them all people names.

When we adopted our dog from the animal shelter she came with the name Ethel which we hated. She wasn't an Ethel. We renamed her Lily. My DH found a cat and brought her home. We just call her Miss Kitty.

We name all of our pets after beverages. Now, keep in mind DH and I do not drink at all but the majority of our babies have been named after alcoholic beverages.

Mochachocalatte (we call her Mocha, Rocca, Rock-Rock and Mo-Mo)
