Default He was so not in the budget!

I got a call from my BFF Monday night wanting to know if I knew of anyone wanting a dog. I said no firmly but then I made the mistake of asking why! LOL! She told me that he was a 6 month old Lab mix that her friend had to get rid of. He is fully potty trained does not bark ,jump on furniture ect ect. (the perfect dog for me) She goes on to tell me that her friend had taken him to the SPCA and they told her she could leave him but the were full and he would be put down in the morning, so she brought him back home! well the second I heard "put down" I jumped in and said I would foster him until I found him a good home.......well as you prob guess I found him a home alright MINE!!! LOL! the little bugger dug a hole right into the whole family's hearts, even my hubby's! He fits in just like we always had him! I am so in love! LOL!

Needless to say I have spent a pretty penny on him already thank goodness he came with a crate. I got all his toys at pet smart on clerance so that was not a big deal. His food is a pretty penny, I have him on organic holistic food. I wil not budge on that! my view is people have choices the dog eats what ever you put in front of him. Then I had to buy him a special collar and leash because he was about to pull my arm right off during walks, and that has been worth every penny! I found a cheap neutering clinic ($75) and a vaccine clinic he has his first set of puppy shots but needs his second and a rabies. I also am going to get him microchiped so I can get a life time license which will pay for it's self.

I guess sometimes bumps in the budget are well worth it!

What a pooch! I would have fell in love too. He sure has found himself a loving home, wishing you many years of muddy paws and unconditional love.
Oh, what's his name? Never mind I saw what it was when I hovered my mouse over his pic. Hi Scamper!

Yeah I can say that face makes it hard to say no! LOL! He is about 35lbs and is not real tall. My furture SIL how is the family animal expert said, since he was in a crate most of his life, now that is out might have a huge growth spirt.
I think and everyone that sees him thinks he is mixed with pointer but no one knows for sure. I just love his eyes i will have to take another pic to try and get them better!
As for full of character, you got it! LOL! He has had me laughing so hard from the dobpic things he does that my belly feels like I did a 1,000 crunches! He is good for the soul!

Yeah Like I said I will never budge on that. My Mom breeds Lasha Apsas and it was amazing to see the differance in the dogs once she went organic and holistic. The fur gets so nice and they are so much more alert and energetic. Not to mention it makes them live longer Since there are no Chemicals or fillers in it.

Animals may not ever be free but the love they provide is priceless!

It sounds as though you will never regret taking him. Both of you are lucky to have each other.
