God bless you for taking her in. I thought about fostering before I adopted; but when I'd have to give them up I was afraid I'd be crying all the time. How do you deal with the giving them back?
Thank you for doing this!!!!!!

I see us more of a stepping stone on the path to their Forever Home. They visit for a few weeks or maybe longer where they can hopefully gain some balance back in their lives with love and compassion while another home is being prepared or found for them.
The Rescue currently has 6 dogs in foster waiting for adoption and are expecting, I think 6 more over the next few months. Even if we only share a brief amount of time with them, providing them with a safe haven while their lives get sorted out is so rewarding to me.
We went to a quarter auction which is the Northern Chesapeake Sheltie Rescue's fall fund raiser. We had such a good time. We also made out like bandits! A lot more of my Holiday shopping just got done. http://www.ncsr-md.org/available.htmThe Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
