We found her a home :(

Bittersweet today. We found our Lexi a new home. She was being aggressive toward our youngest and we just couldn't take the chance that she might bite. I did explore traing routes but 2 reputable trainers told me the same thing. We wouldn't be able to train her out of it, only learn to manage it. It would take many many months of work on her. And they both felt she'd be better with an adult only household.

And that is what we found. A newly retired lady contacted me, she was feeling lonely and depressed. Her husband was recovering from a stroke, but not putting the effort into his physio(it happened a year ago). Lexi took to him easily. The lady sounded so lonely. So perhaps this is a positive thing. something for him to look forward to(going for walks) and keeping her company.

So maybe everything happens for a reason.

On the upside, the puppy doesn't even notice that she's gone. There are no more arguments between the 2. And we'll be able to keep on training!
