    Smile Our new toy poodle Lucy

    My avatar is a picture of our new baby Lucy. We got her on Sunday and she is 3 months old. She weighs 3.8 lbs and is apricot colored. She is very gentle and just loves to be held. My dd really likes that. She is fitting right in with our 13 year old poodle and not sure what to think of our cat Tangie.

    Awww..she's adorable! So tiny!!! I'd be scared the kids would hurt her. My 4yo is quite "affectionate" so we go with hardier pups..lol

    My new Baby was 3 months when we got her! She's in my avatar..lol. She's 4 months now, and she weighs in at 12.2 lbs! Her breeded expected her to be about 18 lbs... mom was 22! and dad only 14. However she was the biggest in her litter so they think she'll be bigger. She's gained only .4 lbs in the last 4 weeks. So maybe she won't be as big as they anticipated.

    Like the jacket I made for her?

    Adorable....we *love* toy poodles. Ours is about 7 years old and she was very apricot when we first got her, but over the years the apricot color has gotten lighter and lighter!

    Oh she's positively perfect! I am a die hard poodle lover. Aren't they just the smartest, bestest dogs ever ?(no offense other breed lovers!) I know you'll love her for many years to come (like until death do you part). I'd like to say that my Heidi would love to meet her but the truth is, she doesn't like dogs, not even poodles... Heidi was apricot when we got her but now she's cream. She was never as dark as your baby though. Precious, just precious. Enjoy

    mommy4ever......I do just LOVE her jacket. That is the next thing we will start getting Lucy used to.....clothes. Today she is just getting used to a collar with a tiny bell ~ so we can keep up with her.

    PrairieRose......you said it right. I love EVERYTHING about poodles....their personality, temperament, looks, and anything else I might have left out. They are just the best!!!
