    Default Key Lime Pie

    Key Lime Pie

    Recipe Description
    One of my summer favorites
    Preparation Steps:
    Preheat oven to 350
    Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:Ingredients:
~1 baked pastry shell or graham cracker pie shell
    ~3 egg yolks
    ~1 can sweetened condensed milk
    ~1/2 cup bottled lime juice
    Serves:
    8
    Directions:
Beat egg yolks with condensed milk.

    Stir in lime juice.

Pour into shell, bake 10 minutes.

Cool. Chill and top with whipped cream, or use the egg whites and make meringue (I usually just use Cool Whip)

sorry, that should say 'bottled' lime juice...not 1/2 c bottle lime juice

It's 1/2 cup of bottled lime juice

I think that's the stuff I used too. I asked Dave to get lime juice at the store, but I was picturing the cheap stuff like the Real Lemon in a bottle.

I made the pie (so easy and fast). Not much to look at right now. Maybe I'll post a picture when I get either Cool Whip or meringue on top...right now it just looks like vanilla pudding in a graham cracker crust

Duh I just realized I asked the wrong question ROFL! Doesn't matter how big the bottle of lime juice is....I meant to ask about the condensed milk - does it only come in one size? OR am I thinking of evaporated milk that has two sizes?
