    Kool Aid Pie


    Recipe Description
    Very rich pie. Easy to make.
    Preparation Steps:Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:Ingredients:
    * 1 graham cracker pie crust
    * 2 packages unsweetened Kool-Aid powdered drink mix
    * 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
    * 1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk
    Serves:
    8
    Directions:
    * 1 graham cracker pie crust
    * 2 packages unsweetened Kool-Aid powdered drink mix
    * 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
    * 1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk

    1. In a large bowl combine Cool Whip, Kool-Aid & condensed milk.
    2. Stir with spoon until mixture is well mixed (lump-free).
    3. Pour into Pie Shell (mixture will be thick and you may have to spoon out).
    4. Smooth out top of pie with back side of spoon.
    5. Place in refrigerator and chill for 1-2 hours.
    6. Serve Chilled.

    This looks yummy and I love, love, love cool whip!!! Hmmm, I'm thinking its time to use up some berry blue kool-aid!

    You actually could leave out the crust, I bet. It's so thin compared to the rest of the pie that you hardly taste it. I think next time I make it I will use a homemade graham crust so I can make it thicker

    We make this. It is a very rich dessert so we serve small pieces. Everyone loves it.

    The lemon lime one tasts a lot like Key lime pie.

    The orange one tastes like orange creamsicles.

    Hubby wants to try it with an oreo crust

    ~We made something similar at the restaurant I worked at as a teen only instead of Kool-Aid packs, we used frozen lemonade or limeade concentrates. The pie was stored in the freezer and served frozen. It stayed soft/frozen though. The lime was very popular on warm summer nights!~
