Easy potatoes!!
Easy potatoes!!
Recipe DescriptionQuenches the urge to eat greasy french fries!!Preparation Steps:1. Wash potato and towel dry.Level of Difficulty:
2. Spray microwavable plate with Pam.EasyTime Needed:8 minutesIngredients:PotatoServes:
Salt or any other seasoning1 servingDirections:1. Cut the potato into thin strips across the short end of the potato.
2. Put potato slices on the plate wihtout overlapping.
3. Sprinkle potato slices with whatever seasoning you want.
4. Microwave on high about 5 minutes until the potatoes are brown and crispy.

I think I read about doing potatoes this way - someplace a long time ago!! Made them for DH when he got home - a good munchie!!

I'll have to try these! If I were to be totally honest, half the reason I eat french fries is for the grease - the greasier the better! (Yeah, I know, very bad...that's why I don't have them very often.)

It just occurred to me that if you added some vinegar this might taste kind of like the salt and vinegar potato chips -- I love those!!

Will do! Do you peel the potatoes first or leave the skin on? I bet this recipe would work great for sweet potatoes too!
