    Default Easy potatoes!!

    Easy potatoes!!


    Recipe Description
    Quenches the urge to eat greasy french fries!!
    Preparation Steps:
    1. Wash potato and towel dry.
    2. Spray microwavable plate with Pam.
    Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:
    8 minutes
    Ingredients:
    Potato
    Salt or any other seasoning
    Serves:
    1 serving
    Directions:
    1. Cut the potato into thin strips across the short end of the potato.
    2. Put potato slices on the plate wihtout overlapping.
    3. Sprinkle potato slices with whatever seasoning you want.
    4. Microwave on high about 5 minutes until the potatoes are brown and crispy.
    Enjoy!!

    I think I read about doing potatoes this way - someplace a long time ago!! Made them for DH when he got home - a good munchie!!

    I'll have to try these! If I were to be totally honest, half the reason I eat french fries is for the grease - the greasier the better! (Yeah, I know, very bad...that's why I don't have them very often.)

    These sound FANTASTIC!!
    I'm thinking about trying these for a quick snack in just a bit...sounds like my kinda snack...quick...salty...and potato....

    It just occurred to me that if you added some vinegar this might taste kind of like the salt and vinegar potato chips -- I love those!!

    Will do! Do you peel the potatoes first or leave the skin on? I bet this recipe would work great for sweet potatoes too!

    I would definitely think it would work with Sweet Potatoes. They seem to nuke great too.

    Have you ever made sweet potato fries? I make them sometime and they are to die for. Just a little oil and spices and I bake them in the oven. I noticed some of our stores are carrying them now.
