feeling epideral site
Is it possible? My son is two and I had 3 epiderals with him do to complications with labor. I SWEAR I feel the injection site from time to time. Just a very small, sharp pain in my lower back concentrated to a tiny area. I have thought this ever since he was born. I thought the same thing after my daughter was born, too. Am I bizarre? Losing my mind? I'll ask my doctor on Tuesday, but it was SO painful yesterday!

I haven't had an epidural, but I have heard of this, persistent and chronic back pain from them. It worries me.
When i was a teenager I had about a dozen spinal taps over a couple years, and I definitely have issues from time to time with that particular joint that they always used. It wasn't always pain, either, just this strange feeling in the spot, like I'm feeling something inside me I shouldn't be able to feel. It has gotten better over the years. But I would imagine it's not all that different than an epi.
I don't think you're nuts at all.
I hope it starts to feel better for you.

I don't think you're nuts. I feel it from time to time, too. With DS 1 I had an epi while they induced labor ~ didn't want it, long story...then I had a spinal block during the c-section
With DS 2 I only had the spinal block since it was a schedule c-section.
I get a tingling feeling in my back where my epidural was and that was over 5 years ago. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. Its uncomfortable, but mine has never been painful.~Jessica

mine was over 23 years ago. I have not felt anything in that area or at least I didn't think it was related.
I am not even sure mine worked all that well. I felt everything anyway. I can't imagine what I missed out on getting the thing. I felt alot! Afterwards my legs did feel tingly like they we asleep but I could feel them.
Hope you find out what it is.

You're not crazy. I still feel it too once in awhile. I did with each of my kids. I especially feel a pinch if you put any pressure on the area.
