    Default So little time...

    And soooo much to do!
I know this would be so much easier if my house was already somewhat under control, but i just started trying to straighten things out.

7 weeks (give or take a few days) till my due date and i'm starting to hit panic mode. Someone please remind me this will all be fine & everything will work out! At this point i'm even having trouble making lists of the things that need to be done, let alone doing any of it!... plus my lists on paper have a tendancy to disapear in my house- not sure if it's the DH thinking it's trash or the 3 yr old thinking it's a coloring page

I'm sure i'd feel a little bit better if my best friend (who lives in Cali) wasn't MIA (3 weeks & counting) and my hubby was more willing to get onto the schedule that i am on (and now our 5 yr old since school's starting)... but he tells me it's impossible for him to get off work @ 1am, come home & go to bed early enough to get up before noon... UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope no one minds my little rant... i'm just frustrated.

I'm gonna start a little to-do list here in hopes i can get this done & have things run as smoothly as possible. It's not like this is the first time going through this... but with 2 kids already & 3 dogs, it just seems much harder to get everyone on the same page.

My mom is keeping my older boys @ her house while DH & I are at the hospital, so....
    -dog feeding instructions for mom
-pack 3 days of clothes for both boys & take to mom's house
-instructions for picking up & dropping off Corgen @ school (once i know them that is- school starts aug 25th)
-list of last minute things to get ready to go to her house (like blankets & stuffed animals, backpack, lunchboxes, etc)

    Getting bedroom ready for baby...
-Check baby list for things we are still missing
-Pick up dresser/changing table from mom's
    -find new home for treadmill
-move crib into corner where treadmill currently is
    -buy bottle of Dreft
-wash all baby clothes & linens
-put away clothes & such in dresser

    Getting cars ready for baby...
-throughly clean out car & truck... no trash, food, crumbs, mystery blobs
-install infant car seat base & sea belt clip in truck
-buy booster seat for Damek to use in car
-install car seat base in car

    Getting ready for hospital stay...
    -write out packing lists
-write out list of last minute things to grab
-go shopping for snacks, toiletries, etc...
    -pack my bag for hospital
    -pack diaper bag for hosiptal
    -pack DH's bag for hospital

Getting ready for first week home...
-household helper (chore) charts- don't forget the one for DH
-plan menu for 2 weeks, including breaskfast & lunch
-go grocery shopping for non-parishables to fill out menu plan
    -pre-cook & freeze at least 4 dinners

OK, i gotta get to work now. Thanks for letting me blab & work on getting my head screwed back on the right direction.
Slightly less stressed at the moment since i know only the internet grmelins (or site admins) can run off with these lists. *hehe*
If anyone can think of anything i'm missing on my lists (yes even though you don't really know me), feel free to chip in cause it may be something i totally forgot about or never would have thought of.

you'll get there, just try to cross one thing off your list every day and everything will work out, never bother about comming on here to rant, we all do it every now and then.
