    Default Cloth diaper help

I saw the post about cloth diaper reviews but I figured I would start a new one to get some specific help. We may be expecting but we won;t find out for sure for another week or so. But I have been looking into cloth diapers. With our first I wanted to breast feed and cloth diaper but wasn't able to do either. I still may not be able to breast feed but at least I can cloth diaper. I have been looking into packages figuring that would be the easiest since I have nothing. This package seems the best but since I know nothing nor know anybody who uses cloth maybe you guys can help. This is the package:

    Includes:
    24 Mother-ease diapers
    12 Absorbent Liners
4 Air Flow Covers (2 white, 2 print)

It's priced at $335 and I would get the one size diapers. I don't know if this is a good deal or not. Also when I get the covers what size do I get? Should I buy larger size covers since the baby won't be in small for that long? I am so confused any help would be great. Thanks!

~I used ME one size diapers with my first two kiddos and I loved them! Can't praise them highly enough!
I acquired almost all of mine on Ebay so I paid about $200 for what you have listed there(some were used). You'll want about 3-4 covers in Small and 4-6 covers in Medium. My kids were out of small before two months old so consider buying the smalls used. They won't have had much use at all! I wanted more covers in the 12-20lb size because as you introduce solid foods it becomes more possible to get a bit of poo on the covers than before requiring washing and the baby is in that size much longer(from 2-12 months).
You'll save about $30 buying the package deal right? Since you have time to get good deals I think you should try Ebay and piece together your own set. Even if you save just a few dollars per diaper and cover you'll have saved a lot over the package deal. I got most of my covers by bidding very low on covers until eventually, auctions actually ended at my super low price. Almost all of them were half price and new.
BUT let me recommend that you buy the diapers new whether it's on Ebay or the ME site. The ones I purchased used and then used for my two kids were in shreds by the time I was finished with them. The ones I had purchased new were still in very good shape. I think it would have been possible to diaper through 4 babies if I had bought all of them new.~

We have been acquiring second hand diapers for free since we got pregnant. But our intention is to purchase new ones (at a discount) at my DH's aunt's store when the baby comes along. We plan to get them once we know what size to get. We bought a box of disposables (with coupon! ) for the hospital stay. After that, we'll buy the cloth ones for home use.

They don't give you diapers in the hospital? Is that a US thing then? Just figured all hospitals give them. We had them supplied when Amaya was born and you were allowed to take as many home as you like which was really nice.

They told us to supply our own. I know they provide, like, 3 but baby will go through those within the first three hours of life. So we bought some disposables. Once we know the weight and size we need, DH will run out and get some for us to use.
