    Default Twins are Here!!

    I've been absent for a while since the birth of my twins. We finally have a bit of a routine and they're starting to a little longer between feedings! They were born on April 18- 5 weeks premature. They spent a week in the NICU, but it was more for observation to make sure they were gaining weight rather than medical necessity.

    Their weights were pretty good...Samuel was 4 lbs 6 ounces and born the regular way. David was 6 lbs 2 ounces and was born by C-Section.

    Here are some ways I found to be a bit thriftier with them:

    -even thought I bought an expensive breast pump, after 2 months, it's paid for itself in formula not bought. My twins won't nurse (prefer the bottle after their NICU stay) so the only way they get breastmilk is by what I pump.
    I don't produce enough milk for them so I do have to supplement with formula. But all the formula they need in addition to breastmilk is covered by WIC.

    -Cloth diapers was unsuccessful. But I have a mama in the states sending me great diaper coupons.

    -don't buy clothes for them. We were given tons of clothes at the baby showers and by relatives.

    LOL...I just realized my boys and 2 of my cats match!

    I guess I don't do things in 1. We got a dog and cat together, another 2 cats together and now two children

    Oh wowwww. look how they reach and lean towards each other...that is too precious.
