    Unhappy At the hospital last night.....

    ~I was having a ton of pressure and painful contractions all day and went in for observation. Turns out the contractions were 2 minutes apart. Fluids didn't help but the two shots of turbutaline finally allowed me to go home for the night. I contracted on and off all night but got some rest.
    The good news is that the contractions aren't productive at this point. Everything is closed up tight. And this morning I'm feeling localized pain around my bladder so it might be a UTI that didn't show up in the test last night. And that could have triggered this whole thing.
    I'll be checking in with my midwife shortly but I just wanted to ask for some prayers today. If it's not a UTI I'll have to go on another labor stopping drug. Something better work because baby needs to stay in longer.~

    of course you will be in my prayers. I am 28 weeks preganant and that is my worst fear. First did not come out except by force but this one of course would want to come screaming out early because that is my luck. Get pleanty of rest and stay off your feet as much as possible to help your body relax the contractions.

    Take care of yourself. My cousin had a similar experience; in her case it was a kidney infection; they got it cleared up. A few days ago she delivered a healthy baby boy. I will pray for your continued safety during pregnancy and healthy delivery.

    ~Update on me:
    My midwife put me on an antibiotic and a drug to stop contractions. Both seem to be working well. I'll be on them for two weeks and hopefully both issues will be completely resolved. I feel a rather loopy and tired but I'm doing ok.
