You will do just fine. Having babies close together runs in my family. My aunt and uncle had their children eleven moths apart. Then, my cousin had her first daughter Sept. 3, 2009 and her second daughter Sept. 17, 2010 - 1 year two weeks apart. She learned quickly how to manage has adapted well. If she can do it, so can you.
Congratulations!!!DD (19)

Congrats!
And, you can do it. I have twins. Having children a year apart isn't the same as having twins, but, if I can do twins and a child two years older, you can do children a year apart.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998

~That's exciting! Congratulations!
Arrange for as much help now as you can. If you have a relative that can make a standard visit to you every week to play with the babies or do a little housework while he/she visits it will make a huge difference to you emotionally. If no one will commit, then invite them over. Break out a pack of store bought cookies and make some tea. Don't feel you have to clean the house for them to see. Just tell them you need adult company and most people are very willing to help you out with that! they ignore the state of the house to see you and the babies and if they're really close friends, they'll pick up a bit while they're there.
Book something out of the house for you to do at least once every week as soon as you're recovered. DH can manage at home for a couple of hours. It can't be shopping or errands or work. It must be something just for you like an exercise class, art, dance or music lessons. You will really need me time even if you feel too tired to go. Trust me, it's important!~~Constance

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I would suggest, if you aren't against it, finding out what sex it is as early as possible. Then you can have the outfits ready, decorate the baby area, etc. which will give you an easy feeling of accomplishment early-on. Get the word out to friends and family about the sex, as well, and hopefully they will help you stock up on the basic baby needs you may have run out of since last baby. (lotions, new cloth diapers or disposable, etc.)
Mine weren't that close together, 2 yrs 8 days apart. I got the older one potty trained before baby was born. *yahooo!!!!*LDR

Congratulations- mine are 1 hour apart LOL. I agree with the other ladies, try to find people to help, don't stress over keeping a squeaky clean house and just try to go with the flow.

Josephhgoins the bad thing is we have 4 TV's! lol
In all honesty we did not think it would happen so quickly as it took us 1.5 years to get pregnant with Gavin. I have come to understand that God never gives you more then you can handle and I am up for this test from him.Married to my highschool sweetheart, DD 6 DS 9 months

Congrats!! Just know that your #1 priorities are your babies followed by yourself! Not the clean house nor laundry and other chores. Ask for help AND be willing to accept it in the form that it is offered - though it may not be to your standards. And I agree with the QT alone - even if you go out once a week to a cafe to enjoy a great cup of tea and get curled up with a good book for an hour or so. As long as its something for you and you alone.
