he he.....I bought one at CVS the other day. It was more than at walmart but I didn't want to fight the crowds there.

It's okey, it's very loud in there, and if you have on the TV or Radio it enhances that as well so if you get one, don't listen to it while the TV is on. Joe was laying in the floor watching TV with the dog (right beside of it) and he put them on, I hit the button, he screamed and the headphones went flying.....lol

oops, lol. After the ringing in his ears subsided, did he say if he heard a heartbeat? LOL
I know with the monitors in the doctor offices I had been to with Erick and with Hannah, it always seemed...pretty loud, and I wondered if it was a similar experience to the ones found in OBGYN offices.
I might just get one next payday.

I had one when pregnant with Jackson. I liked it mostly cause I worried a lot.If I got worried and didn't feel him move,I'd get it and listen

If you know me at all you know I'm going to say...check out ebay first LOL

I thought about ebay too, but i don't know that dh would go for it. He's never used it, but is very leery of buying something from ebay, used because he doesn't have the opportunity to physically handle it first. He'll buy something new from say Amazon, but never anything used with out seeing, feeling or inspecting it first. he's weird that way.

I had one when I was pregnant, too, and enjoyed playing with it. I learned the same thing as Kat~ don't have the TV on! LOL! Mine also reversed, so I could use it to play music in my womb for the baby. I used to lay in bed at night reading and alternately listening for her heartbeat (which I could hear, but not as well as in the OB's office) and playing classical music for her.
