    Question Fertility Friend?

Has anyone used this website?   It tracks your BBT (basal body temp) for you- and apparently interprets your charts, too.   When we were trying to get pregnant with DD I used a different free BBT charting software, but I can't find that site anymore.

Of course I can just use the free printable charts that I have, but, I like playing around with the online stuff.

I signed up for the free trial of Fertility Friend, but it's only good for 30 days, so I'm wondering if it's worth the effort of putting all my info in if I'm not going to continue it after a month.  Any input?

I ran across that site when I was looking for NFP info. They don't want you to use it for that, so I just passed it by.

Oh, and I obviously didn't get the hang of the NFP yet LOL

I'll probably just keep using a printable chart I got from a NFP site, but, thought the idea behind this one looked interesting.

I used Fertility Friend. I took my temperature loyally each morning the entire time I tried to get pregnant with first Julia and then with Patrick. It took me 9 months to get pregnant both times, and I found the tracking of temps to be very worthwhile information. It really helped me to know what my body was doing and when. Turns out with Julia, I had a short luteal phase (the time between ovulation and your period) and so I started taking Vitamin B6 to extend it. Worked like a charm, but I wouldn't have figured that out if I wasn't temp tracking, and Fertility Friend had all sorts of info on the whole deal. Fertility Friend is great...really, it worked for me.

You might also want to get the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Welschler. Excellent book.

I tracked temps with DD, and it still took us three years to get pregnant.  I have very irregular cycles with a few other complications thrown in.  I'm glad to know that someone has used the software and found it worthwile- thanks!  I've been playing around with it and might sign up for it.

I've read that book, too.  I liked it, but found "Fertility" (author's name escapes me right now & the book is loaned out) even more useful.
