went to my appt as usual. the doc said that he will be doing a c/s five to seven days before my edd. (my history of births has been such that i expected this)
so...that means...
EDD April 24
minus 5 to 7 days
equals April 17-19th for this baby's birth.
Which on a sidenote is either on Melody's son's b'day(17th), my b'day (18th) or the following day (19th)
All the bloodwork from last month came back great.

If you have a choice I'd go for the day after your birthday. Nobody wants to be nursing a c/s on their birthday.
I can't believe how soon you will be holding your new son in your arms.
it seems far off yet. i have lots to get still, lots of shopping to figure out. I have my registriy all set for what we need most, but i still have odds and ends to get. So maybe concentrating on those things will make time fly faster. I still want qutie a bit of thngs done between now and then.
But as for my last appointment the meanurements the doc took, and the check he did on the bones in my pelvis, i should have never been allowed labor in the first place. He said he isn't an activist for c/s but when it is necessary, it is necessary, and in my case he said i shouldn't have been allowed the labor. (18 hours before nurses realised i wasn't dialating.) So he told me not to worry, it will be no different than it had been with my dd. So that's good. Her c/s was simple.

It sounds like you have a great doctor there! My brother's fiance was "allowed" about an 18 hour labor with my nephew before they finally took him c/s and I was steaming mad. Why put a woman through all of that when they can see by the measurements and all that a vaginal birth is not safe for her or the baby????
As for me, my doctor said that I was "perfect" for having babies. Apparently I have "lovely" (his words, not mine ) hip and birth canal structure.
Well, if Melody's Dh ever gets stationed closer, then the three of us, her ds, my ds, and myself could all celebrate a joint birthday shingding those days! I can see it now...a sesame street/knights/dinner party theme, lol

I went to my appointment this week, too. No problems here. LOL Although the OB told me that the epidural guy(cant spell what he is) that was giving him problems about giving them before 5 centimeters has lightened up. Good thing, because for me 5 centimeters is wayyyyy too late. LOL
Those little babies will be here soon.
Happy everyone is doing well.

I am glad everything is going well. I would have it on my birthday too if I had the option. Dakota was born 2 days after my birthday, but I was hoping he would've decided to join us on my birthday.
