Still haven't picked up the changing table yet (Joe and I can't decide on one that we both agree with) However, mom came up and she and my step father brought us a rocking chair (the same one my brother and I were rocked in) and mine and my brothers rocking horse. I know she can't use it anytime soon but it was either bring it here or it was going to get tossed when they sell my grandmothers house.
It's funny, when I was little the horse seemed so big but it really isn't. Joe said the other day......."wonder when she will ask for her own horse or pony", well at least we don't have to buy her a real one now...lol
I'm so happy for you & Joe. My how these 9 months have passed so fast.
You are just starting your journey with your children giving them those wonderful roots & I'm at the other end giving mine their wings to fly and live their own lives. The whole thing is a wonderful ride filled with many ups and a few bumps along the way. Enjoy the ride Kat.

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." ~Leo Buscaglia
What great treasures to have for your little one. Very thoughtful of your mom to give you the chair you were rocked in and the horse you had as a child. I would have loved to have the chair I was rocked in for my children.
