    Default Appt yesterday

    Everything went well and the doctor said the swelling is normal but just try to elevate my feet when I can. I will be seen in 2 weeks for the strep test and then will be seen every week after that. I also told her that I wasn't comfortable with the male OB in the practice and would prefer to be seen by her or the midwife - she said no problem. I was so happy to hear that!!!

    Malcom is so anxious to meet Jacob (me too) that he asked the doctor how soon he will be born. The doctor told us be prepared anytime but then looked at me and said don't be disappointed if he does come in Aug (his due date). I said that is what I'm planning for and I don't have my hopes up that he will be here in July. Malcom thinks I will go into labor on July 21st (a full moon). He's so funny!! The doctor said it is very likely it just might happen.

    Last night I was once again having VERY strong BH contractions. So bad that it brought tears to my eyes at one point. I'm just taking it easy and accepting the fact that Malcom is working so hard to do housework!!

    I'll keep you updated - it won't be too much longer.

    Wow, exciting times for you and Malcom.

    Can't wait to meet little Jacob. You do as the doctor orders now, feet up and plenty of rest. Malcom will do just fine with the housework and if he doesn't? Who cares, he is trying and that's what really counts.

    Glad everything is going well. Jacob will be here before you know it.

    You keep those feet up and let Malcom take care of the cleaning....whether it is done right or wrong at least it is done!

    I hated the swelling, everyone though seemed more concerned with it then me. I would try to keep them up at night afterwork and sometimes when we were slow I would sit down at work and prop them on the counter tops in the back....lol Also when I would fall asleep before Joe, he would put some pillows under them before he went to bed.

    People kept telling me I would go on the full moon also, but I didn't, but I was so ready for her to come. Although when my Dr. mentioned being induced, I said "when" he said "tomorrow" I said "OK"....lol.

    When you do the strep test and get the results, IF its positive ask about induction seeing as you have to be given the medication thru your drip when you go in labor, that way you will make sure that you get it when you are suppose to.

    I can't believe Jacob is almost here, I can't wait to see more pictures of babies in the village.

    No Problem. I tested postive, but even if I hadn't I was so ready to meet Paige, that I probably would have agreed to be induced anyway's

    based on LMP it was Feb 18th so I was induced technically a week and a day early.
