my appt
I went yesterday for my OB appt and had the group b strep test done - I won't get the results back until next week.
Everything looks great!! And guess what? I'm 1 cm dilated and my cervix is soft!! I know that this could mean I'm dilated for weeks but it was so great to hear!! We had an u/s done and Jacob is head down. We are so ready!!
Last night I was up for almost 4 hours with some back pain and cramping. After 3 hours I just sat in the living room and cried and basically begged him to come out!!!
I have been having the cramping for awhile and last night only had a few BH contractions - mostly cramping.
How many of you were dilated for awhile?
I go again next Monday for another check - shouldn't be long now!!

I can't really answer your question- for one, my midwives/doctor never did internal exams after the first one to confim my pregnancy, and two, well, I was at risk for preterm labo because I started having productive contractions and effacement at 16 weeks....BUT, it won't be too long now.

I was dilated about 1-2cm from my appointment a month before Paige was due and was still about the same 3 weeks later when they induced me
