Appointment today

I had a good and quick appt (the best kind)

I'm dialated a little over 1 cm and 50% effaced. The midwife was really actually surprised to see me today - she feels I'm going to go anytime. I told her I wish I would!! I asked her about sex to
help with labor and before I could get the question out she said yes - have sex!! Part of me was hoping this was a wives tale because its the last thing I want to do right now but I'm also at the point I'll do anything!! She is concerned about my swelling - it's really bad this week so I have to continue to watch this.

Malcom thinks I'll go into labor this Thurs (21st) due to it being a full moon.....we'll see - you never know. But wouldn't it be something if I did???

Won't be long now Daphne. I did the same with Andrew, I was 3cm for a little while.
I also was seeing a holistic chiro. (we became good friends) and she suggested rasberry tea(suppose to help better than sex

) and getting adjusted. Well I was doing both and I thought I was going to stay pregnant with Sarah

so I drank gallons of it and went to her and I did go into labor within a couple of days(may have been that night, forgot). I dreaded having her on her due date christmas, but did anyway.

I have heard the sex one and that did not work for me or for a few cousins that tried that. So not sure abput that, but Jacob will get here whe nhe decides he is god and ready. With the swelling though and you already starting with dialting and being so close they may decide it is time.
Just in case get those bags packed and don't deoend on hubby bringing what you need

Mine forgot the little girls clothes(we did not find out with Sarah) but thankfully I had in another bag I brought a cute little outfit that would go either way.
Good luck time is comming for the little guy to meet his family
