Did you have difficult pregnancies?
I was very fortunate in that all 3 of my pregnancies went well. I had very little morning sickness and felt well all throughout it. I also had easy deliveries until my last one. That was a whole other story.

I had to be on bedrest with Ashleigh...low bloodpressure but other than that I was fine. Long labor, though.
Miss K....that was wonderful once I got past the low progesterone in the first trimester. I loved being pregnant.
We tried for several years before I got Missk though....that's a whole other story, too.

Lets see 4 kids 2 bad pregnancies.........
With Kaitlyn I had all day sickness (I mean if I was awake I was sick and vomiting) only the first 5 months and the last 2 :~)
With the triplets I wasn't really sick I would be feeling fine and then all of a sudden I would have to vomit but I was on bedrest from week 20 on and in the hospital from week 26 on to 30 when they were born so in that way it was really difficult.

It was difficult getting pregnant with the first two, but with all three, once pregnant, I'm very healthy. For the 2nd and 3rd month I had the all-day sickness, but once month 4 came, boom, like magic, it was gone.

All were very difficult
ruptured appendix/gangrene with Jake, preterm delivery at 32 1/2 weeks.
placenta previa with Doug and he had the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck-- vaginal birth in a hurry when I was only dilated 7 cm-- I tore internally and externally. . he was born "dead" and had to be recusitated.
had uterine tumor with Deana- and placenta implanted right over the tumor-- docs recommended I terminate the pregnancy and have a hysterectomy. I opted to try to carry her-- loads of problems with that, then I tripped and fell at 6 months and went into early labor-- loads of meds/bedrest, etc. But a tiny, healthy baby at the end.
I also lost 6 other babies - one shortly after birth, others in first trimester. . . one was a set of twins.

I had my first just 16 months ago and it was a very hard pregnancy. I was on bedrest and in and out of the hospital for the last 3 months and my son came 6 weeks early. Bedrest was the most boring thing I've ever done in my life. But it was all so worth it.

Ashley--morning sickness for 5 months.placenta previa.2 weeks late,induced,3 ½ hour labor 4 pushes and she was born.
Katie-morning sickness 5 months.placenta previa,3 weeks early,31 hour labor,pushed for an hour.
Jackson-morning sickness 5 months, placenta previa,he was so huge I could barely walk the last few weeks. I was to be induced that morning at 7am and went into labor at home around 3 am and he was born a little after 6am...an hour after we got there!
Jayme-morning sickness 6-7 months,placenta previa,pregnancy from h*ll..everything hurt lol,breech,scheduled c-section 1 week early.
She was by far my most diffcult, but she's the most well behaved child we have

No. but we had to take precautions to keep things from going south.
I have what my doctor likes to refer to as a "less-than-competent" cervix. I was having productive contractions as early as 14 or 15 weeks, and my cervix was noticibly thinning throughout the whole pregnancy. I was taken out of work at something like 32 or 33 weeks, and was on modified activity at 28 weeks when they discovered the problem. I had to have ultrasounds all the time after that. I think I had 8 total, because I had one early (6 week) due to bleeding (2x) that was too late to be implantation bleeding.
Despite that, it was a very easy pregnancy. I really had no morning sickness, and though I had back pain, that was really because I was injured by a patient years ago. I never had a painful contraction until I was in labor.
Labor was a bit tricky, as apparently poor pushing contractions run in the family. I never put 2 and 2 together until after I had dd, but my mother delivered my sister with the assistance of forceps because she had trouble, and both my sisters had trouble delivereing their firts- actually, ny nephew was pushed out partly by the nurses and his father.
I pushed for (drumroll, please)...........almost FIVE hours. If I had a doctor instead of an NP midwife, I would have ended up with a c-section or at the very least, forceps after about 2 hours. I was doing grat- no tears, no medical intervention oof any kind- when I heard the midwife ask how long I had been pushing after 4 hours. I didn't want a c-section or forceps, so I pushed when I didn't have to (which is what happened to my oldest sister) and ended up with a gigantic tear, but that kid finally came out!!!
All in all, though, it was a pretty intervention, medication free deal, which is exactly what I wanted ( so much so that I waited until I was in transition before getting into the car for the 45 minutes drive, but we won't get into that.)
It certainly sounds like my pregnancy was a WHOLE lot easier than some here.

With Patrick, no, not at all.
With Logan, it was awful. I was sick the entire time, my blood pressure was out of control (wouldn't have had anything to do with the doctors being complete a$$e$ though would it) and I didn't have enough fluid. Logan was induced 4 weeks early and weighed in at 4 lbs 12 oz. They had a crash cart at the ready "just in case."

Cervical cancer while pregnant with second dd. 9 months of testing and a biopsy in my 7th month. Lots of morning sickness. Showing sugar. Induced labor and a hysterectomy 5 weeks after her birth. No fun at all.

No problems with the pregnancies...it was the 32 hour labor/near death experience/emergency c-section with the first one that nearly did me in. 18 months later, dd#2 was a scheduled c-section and all went fine. Except both were full length vertical incisions that didn't heal well.
We are a bunch of tough women!!!
