Anyone else TTC ?
I've been looking for some support, so I've looked at a few other websites - but I really enjoy FV more than any other sites I've found. So, just wondering - anyone else here TTC? I'm due to ovulate this Friday/Saturday (fingers crossed)

Yes, I am. Though, it's a little more complicated for me. I had two pregnancies in 2003 that ended in miscarriage, then for two years nothing happened. I've had a bunch of tests; nothing really significant wrong. I have an excellent specialist so hopefully everything works out this month. I'll be starting my IVF drugs next week. So, if everything goes as planned, I'll be pregnant in February. This is a huge expense, but it's totally worth the money and the potential debt. I'm still trying to budget it so I won't have to go deeper in debt. I'm getting a huge discount so the cost will only be $5250 plus my copays for the medication. I'm fairly confident that this will work. It worked the first time for two of my friends. Maintaining the pregnancy is my biggest concern.
So, I'd relax this month. I got pregnant easily when I wasn't really trying.
And, if it doesn't work, there is always next month.

I'm done with having babies, but wanted to wish you luck.
I've been through the whole infertility, drugs, taking temp thing and know how frustrating it can be. I would suggest not to stress this week or this weekend. I know it's hard, when I was ttc thats ALL I would think about. Just TRY not to stress to much.
If you need to talk, just pm me

Good luck!
When we were ttc, I also really enjoyed going to babycenter.com and chatting in the ttc rooms. The ladies there were full of good information and it was nice to be able to share with people who were doing what I was doing (not literally, of course
) because none of my friends were in that place at the time.

I 2nd babycenter. You'll learn so much and meet some wonderful ladies. It was fun joining the boards where everyone was due in the same month as myself.

I'm pregnant now, but this time it took about a year, and with my daughter it took three years. The endless charting, doctor visits, etc. can get depressing & stressful-- especially when well-meaning people keep asking "when are you guys going to have a baby"-- don't you just want to slap those people?

I am a firm believer that everything happens in God's time, but that sure didn't make me any less anxious or upset when we were TTC.
Anyways, just wanted to say, BTDT, and good luck!

Actually, what I find hardest right now is that DH and I agreed not to tell anyone - including parents - until we were 12 weeks or so - meaning that we're not telling anyone we're trying. So far, I've told all of FV
and two co-worker friends, mostly because I've needed some support. Last year when anyone asked me about baby plans I said, "next year" so now that its next year - I have a ton of people asking me! I try and stall with a general yeah, sometime in the future kind of answer, but like you said - I honestly don't need the stress of everyone asking me if I'm pregnant yet!
I've actually been hanging out on the SheKnows TTC message boards - I followed a link from here on FV to one of their articles, and noticed that they have a TTC board, so I've been posting there. I had signed up for the Baby Center newsletter, but when we had decided to wait it was just too depressing so I unsubscribed.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

Another good site is http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ I havent been there in ages and it use to be free, but things could have changed.
I used it mostly for the charts...they're the best ones I could find.
Course if you dont chart you wont need em lol
Good Luck!!

Yes, I'm on Fertility Friend as well - there is a free regular membership and a "upgraded" membership you can pay for - right now I'm in a 30 day free trial of the upgraded version, not sure exactly what the difference is. Knowing me, I'll probably just stick with the freebie when my 30 days is up.
