Six weeks off work
Well, it's official-- I'm off of work on Medical Leave of Absence for the next six weeks. I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but, with all of my pregnancy complications, I simply can't handle working right now. I've been calling in a lot-- and I only work 2-3 days a week. So, my boss and I talked about it and I decided to take the leave of absence.
I have mixed feelings about this. I know it's the right thing to do for myself and the baby.... yet when I think about spending six solid weeks at home, most of it on bedrest/the couch.... yikes! That's a long time!

i was on bedrest for 3mths with my 4th pregnancy.......it was horrible. my mother had to take family medical leave to take care of my children. my dh works night, so she stayed the night also. yes bedrest is hard, but its the best way to insure a healthy baby........so please listen to the dr. sending hugs & prayers your way.....you will survive i promise

I sympathize for you, but when you start feeling down, just think "my baby is more important than any job".
I'll keep you in my prayers. We all should.
Take care of yourself so that you'll be in good shape to go back to work in six weeks!

I've been out of work for a month so far... and boy was I bored!!
I'm just now getting on track with therapeutic 'sewing' to help my broken wrist.
Things I do:
Movies, reading, sorting, organizing, couponing, rebating, FV, journalling, having fun finding new ways to save money, challenge myself to make it all from scratch, finding new recipes, using equipment I purchased during frivolous times, updating my pantry list and stock, creating a 'home manual', puzzles, learning something new everyday, long baths, catch up on phone calls and letter writing, planning Christmas.
There are so many things you can do. Look on the bright side.
