I love family names. therefore we named DD Charlotte Pearl , Charlotte after DH's favorite aunt in Mississippi and Pearl for me, my grandmother and my great aunt.
Our son is Eric Drew, Eric which was supposed to be my name (opps), and Drew after my mother in laws younger brother who died from cancer.

Well, of course I love my DDs names. My oldest DD is Emily Annette. I loved the name Emily and the Annette is after my Mother's sister, who was my favorite aunt. My youngest DD is Jacqueline Hope. Hope being a favorite of mine and Jacqueline after her Grandmother (who is now my ex MIL). I also like the names Meredith and Sydney.
My step-son and his girlfriend have 3 DDs. They are not married and I don't like it, but what can you do. She used unisex names for all 3 girls, I begged her to use Sydney, but couldn't talk her into it. Their names are Jordan, Ryann and Camryn.
I never had a boy to name but if Emily or Hope either one had been a boy they would have been Nathan. I also like Bradley."Strong is what we make each other." ~ Marge Piercy

I don't think I'll ever have babies to name, but if I did, I love the name Dominic for a boy. I love names, they're fascinating. Emily Annette, that flows very well together, emily_hope (and now I see where your name comes from!
).

Hehehe, yes Naderbug, that's it. Years ago when I first started using the internet, every name I chose was taken by someone else. Just happened to put in emily_hope and it was available. Used it ever since. My name is Lee Ann. Weird but, the Lee came from my uncle Earl Lee and the Ann was shortened from my aunt Annette.....hence my middle name and the Annette in Emily's name. Emily says when/if she has a girl she will again use the Ann for part of her name. Family tradition now.

My little boy is called Arthur David, Arthur after my grandfather and David after my DH's step father.
My oldest D is called Amelia Raven (Meli for short) Amelia because it was the only name we came up with and Raven because i met my DH online and my screen name was Ravenfern, she was also a very small looking baby (she weighed 8lb 6 oz) and daddy used to call her his little bird.
My youngest D is called Stephanie Alia, Stephanie after my DH's mother and Alia because we wanted some thing different

My son's name is Wesley John. Wesley is for my great-great grandpa and for my husband's best friend, who is also Wesley's godfather. John is my husband's middle name and the name of Zac's mom's uncle who raised her. I wanted Wesley Zachariah and Zac said no.
If Wesley was a girl we were going to name her Emily Ruth. Emily is my best friend's name and Wesley's godmother, and Ruth is my grandma's middle name.
We've decided if we ever have another baby, her name will be Sophia Grace.McD
-wife to Z
-mommy to Dubya & Moo Cow

I love older names as well. My Dd's name is Olivia Michelle (michelle-after her father, Michael.) and my Ds's name is Ethan Michael- after his dad.
I won't be having any more children, but if I were, I'd use the names Emily Rebecca for a girl and Jeorge (pronounced "George") for a boy.
