late term nausea?

so I have felt really nasty and nauseated all day today. its just getting worse. and the thought of making dinner. well it may not happen.

I haven't felt this

since my first trimester when I thought I had a nasty case of the flu.

could this mean something?

lately in the morning, if I have anything for breakfast...it doesn't matter what I eat....I sometimes feel sick to my stomach. I thought that it was weird to feel sick in the last few weeks too.

i do remember towards the end of your pregnancy feeling very sick like i did in the begining. sounds like your baby might be coming soon. hope you start feeling better soon!! try to get some rest (i know its easier said than done) & hang in there, its almost over!!!

welll....it wasn't labour.

it was my appendix.

I went in and then strange one sided contractions started, and the OB actually felt one, and the pain stayed.

so they called the surgeons in. I was held overnight in the antenatal ward hooked to an IV and machines. in the AM I was sent for a u/s then whisked away to surgery.

it was a task in itself....how much do I weigh, due date, and all that. since I am pregnant they had to be careful with anesthetic and medications and the actual procedure.

So in and out, spent the next day in hosptial recovering, I was the star of the antenatal ward! all the doctors knew about the prego that had to have her appendix removed.

they let me go home last night, I was not comfortable in hospital and promised to behave.

but ouch!

the couch and I have a date today! my girls are happy to have me home. and my butt hurts from laying and sitting around.

ahh yes the queen of the ruckus!

well we were discussing it last night, and each pregnancy something has gone 'wrong'. Susanne was a week late and there was meconium and she wasn't brreathing so had to spend her first few days in incubator, Victoria was fine but I ended up going into post partum shock (retained tissue - the placenta broke apart) and I had to go back in for an extra week and have a D&C to clear it all out.

Figure that this is the 'wrong' thing or unexpected for this pregnancy!
