How exciting, the last little bit of time spent waiting is so hard. You take good care.

I know what you mean...you want to be on the other side of this already..me too, as we are due on the same day I've have had bouts of contractions going on 4-5 hrs at a time - all week.....pretty painful ones too....then they putz out...gggrrrr. my midwife stopped by 2 nights ago & checked everything...said that I was 80% effaced and 2 cm dialated (you're further than me..lol). She said that once true labor kicked in it would be quick. What a relief..I just want to finally meet my new little one. So hang in there santoria...we'll both be through this before we know it....we can't stay like this forever. I'll be praying for you

    thanks all....

I have started ignoring the contractions. just waiting for that instinct that I got with the first 2. that said THIS IS IT! lets go!

I even brought the bags in and rearranged everything. we got a bunch of new stuff from my mom at my dd party last night. so washed it all and have gone through whats in there. hopefully something will happen when I don't have anything ready....where's MURPHY???? lol

dh is worn out and tired too...the guys he works with are driving him nuts - they don't want to work so just don't show up or go on a break and never come back (he is a drywall sander). he calls at least once a day - time to have a baby yet??? good thing I am a solitary - leave me ALONE labour person. let me be in pain on my own, go sit in your corner. which reminds me I need to dig out his playstation to take with us.

Bless your heart!!! I remember feeling the same way 26 years ago. I was tired of carrying her and was more than ready to deliver. I told everyone I was going to squat and drop when I delivered. Went into labor Friday night and didn't have her until Monday morning. . lol.

Oh do I ever feel your pain. My first baby was 3 1/2 weeks overdue. That darn child was born nearly a month old. I was the snarliest, meanest, most miserable pregnant lady alive. People would say to me, "Haven't you had that baby yet?" Oh my gosh, the answers whirling around in my head!!!! Does it look like I have had the baby? Yeah, this is the second one I am working on! What baby? Generally I managed to grit my teeth and sneer out a little smile. On the bright side, when I finally went into labor it was really quick and nearly painless. Only 3 hours!

This too shall pass, although it feels like it never will right now! Hang in there, the end is near.
