    Default I'm finally having contractions!!!

Well, even though I'm only 35 weeks and 5 days along, I am more than ready to see my new bouncing baby boy. The doctor has no concern about him being born early, for the fact that he is already almost 7 lbs. She keeps putting off and putting off inducing me, so I'd rather go into labor on my own, than go through the horrible pain of being induced again! Right now, although early, it's better for him to just be born than to put up with my extremely high blood pressure and the Tylenol 3 they're giving me to control my migraines.

Anyway, I'm so excited and am hoping that it is soon. My contractions are starting to get pretty painful, and I'm losing my mucus plug, but the contractions are still only coming 2 or 3 in an hour. He's ready to come, but just isn't going to be in any hurry to do so!

Anyways, just thought I'd share the news. Hopefully he makes his appearance in the next few days. I'm tired of going to the Dr 3 times a week and sitting there for 4 hours each visit for monitoring!!!!

Still nothing...went to the dr. last week and was dialated to 2...with the contractions I've been having lately I've got to be atleast a 3, if not 4. I leave for another dr visit in a couple hours, and since I turned 37 weeks yesterday, I'm sort of expecting to be induced. It won't take long to do and I have a feeling I'm already almost halfway there. My boyfriend's motherkeeps telling me that I need to be careful. She said that since my last birthing experience was induced, and quite painful do to that fact, that I have no idea what natural labor feels like, and since I have a fairly high tolerance for pain, that I might be a lot closer than I think. She has 4 kids...the first one was induced. the second one she didn't even make it to the hospital, because she never realized she was in labor until it was too late. That's what she's afraid will happen with me, and i am too to be quite honest. her third child was born in under 5 hours and her 4th child was born in less than 3 hours. The hospital is almost an hour away, so we're all scared now that I won't even make it to the hospital in time!! He may be born in the car like his Auntie was!!

Anyways, hopefully it comes soon. I'm feeling a lot of pressure on my pelvis and my back is just absolutely killing me.

    Hopefully soon!

    Hopefully soon!

It could be that your contractions/labor pain is concentrated in your back. I had back labor something awful. Just a thought,

Baby is coming on Friday. I am going in to be induced at 5 am, but they're schedualing it as possible c-section...nothing to eat or drink after midnight, coming in early of the morning so the Dr can keep an eye on me (her office is in the same building), etc. Hopefully I don't have to have a c-section as I, when I get back up on my feet financially, am planning on a couple few more kids. I want at least 3 more, but not 3 more c-sections. There's something un-natural to scheduling your child's birth like a football game. I feel like selling tickets!! Oh well, do whatever you have to do to make sure this child comes out of me w/as few complications as possible.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts.
