NEW BABY!!
Cody Eldene was born on June 1st, 2007. He weighed in at 6 lb, 7 oz and was 20 inches long. His arrival time was 2:31pm, after 7 hours of labor.
I did end up having to be induced, but did it all with NO epidural.
The nurses couldn't even believe it, especially since being induced makes childbirth 10 times harder.
Even my Dr. said that she couldn't go through it without pain medicine.
I am very glad that I could do it without all the unneccessary pain medicines, even while being induced. I am healing much faster than w/my oldest, and felt much more lively after the birth.
The oldest was 12 hours of labor, this one was 7 hours...maybe we'll go for 4 hours or less with baby number 3, when the time comes to have him.
Yeah, I know, I'm completely out of my mind already talking about the 3rd child, when the 2nd is only 4 days old! But I still long to have a large family and can not wait until the time comes when I have my finances in order enough to start trying for baby no 3.
