guessing baby's weigh?

any old wives tales about baby's weight out there? i am 33 weeks and baby is 5.2lbs already any way of guessing what he will be?

i have gained 15lbs total

Theres really no way to guess, but I will try to take a shot at it, lol I will say approx. 7lbs 1 oz. give or take an ounce or 2.

It's fun to guess but even the technology never gets it right - an ultrasound estimate can be off by as much as 3 lbs (and I see it all the time with my clients!)

Birthgeek is right. The Ultrasound on twin GD's said 5lbs and 5-2. They were 4-7 and 4-10. Pretty close. Niece was induced because Ultrasound said a bruising 10 lb. boy--he was 7-4 when he was born.

So take it with a grain of salt!!

i know when i was pregnant with my son they did alot of ultrasounds and right before the c-section they did one and were right on target with his weight..and my husband is trying to be funny by saying how big this kid will be but the good news is i probably wont go to full term..so he only has a few more weeks to gain weight..my tummy is big enough! uh! so unconfortable...=)

I'm gonna say he will weigh 8-1/2 to 9lbs...He's a good size considering you still have 7 weeks to go.. I feel for you Honey being uncomfortable and having to go through several more weeks before he's here..Good Luck..
