This is an obscure old reference, but I'll risk dating myself.
Tappan on Survival
by the late Mel Tappan.
If you Google it you can find the entire work for free in online format.

The LDS Preparedness Manual. Written for Mormons (which I am not), but it is the best resource I have found. You can download it online for free. I ordered a printed copy. Great book!

I would say Dare To Prepare is my favorite book. The LDS Preparedness Manual which is free online is also a very good reference manual to print out and keep onhand. It talks about preparedness and stockpiling, what you need to have on hand and how much you'll need. Google "LDS Preparedness Manual" for a free download.

My collection of Backwoods Home Magazine as well as the anthologies that I've collected. Don't loan them out, but will make copies of articles for friends. It's the only magazine subscription that I've kept for years. Political slant aside, it's full of practical info and I love Jackie Clay.
I'm with udwe on the book selection that you can order from them.
