Misti Misti Misti! Fun to hear from you! I've been MIA for a while, I know (I live an emotionally dramatic life...)
Is the joke on me? Can you not can deer? Aye aye aye.... shows you what I know! I know you can can some meat.... befuddles me how, but I love the thought.

Have you done any canning yet ?
If tomatoes are hard to come by or pricey, how about apple sauce ?
Tomatoes go in a water bath canner.
Meat goes into a pressure canner. I have canned lots of venison in the past. Last year I did venison, and pork.
I just did a batch of raspberry jam a few days ago and then water bathed it.--------My signature--------

Put the frog in pot, turn up the heat real slow, and the frog doesn't hop out. And by the time he realizes, he should , it's too late... think about it.
