agreed-this used to be when i started to let my stockpile run down so I could clean and rotate but I feel rushed.
Comments-
Army navy surplus stores carry silver blankets that fold small and reflect heat well. We have 1 for everyone.
I just put wood stick or book matches on my list. I keep a stockpile of bic lighters and long lighters already but they don't slip in the old pockets as well.
Clothesline and clothes pins too.
Lately I have been playing w/ the idea of keeping some things in several places in the house. Like if the bsmt. floods or a tree crashes into the top of the house? Point driven home tonight-Don't store all the candles in the dark, dark bsmt. in case of power outage. Least it was short.
Also, I am buying smaller sizes of things that need refridg. after opening. No more mega jars.
Today
- we got gas for the generators.
Tomorrow
Kroger has a water sale.
Still poking slowly through the pantry. Evaluating the spices. (chives are NOT grey.lol)
Stockpiled heavily on tuna cans, tuna packets and salmon packets. Got 8 peanut butters and 8 spams. I'm thinking protien.

Got all 3 dogs licensed
Got both combo (county/metro) and state park passes for both cars. We have showered there when we had extended power outs. I always figure we could stay if our home was unlivable short term.
Slowly making my way thru medical and dental needs. Don't want a cavity in a crisis. Plus who knows about medical benefits and jobs these days.
Going to do a bit of work in the old pantry tonight too.
I didn't shop so i will moves that tomorrow.

I stockpiled coffee today. Publix had reg Folgers (big ) for $6.99 and Decaf for $7.99. That makes the Decaf alone $4 or more cheaper a lg cannister and reg $2 or more. Kind of blew my grocery budget but that's a $20 savings right there.
Sale goes off tomorrow night and I might go back and get 1 or 2 more of each. Don't know, that's a lot of moneyBank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I've got to get coffee Niko. I must have coffee! Wondering if I should stock canned cream too. I can't drink coffee without cream.

I don'y know about coffeemate, however I just may get a few jars just in case. Cheaper then canned cream. But I will be getting some canned cream also, and maybe some evaporated milk too. I guess I'll just have to see what the deals are when I get out there.
Coffee, tea, cocoa, sugar and beans are on my hit list.~~~

I bought a bottle of off-brand children's Tylenol and some various homeopathic medicines for my little one. I have plenty of adult medications but was lacking on children medicines. My mentioning medicines the other day must've got my brain going in the right direction. Most of them are late 2012 and some were even 2013 exp. dates!

My husband was talking about getting goats tonight! Seriously! Goats! Now I've never once thought about getting a goat, or two goats for that matter, but he sounds serious. The man was talking goats!
