Anyone ever use one? And where did you get a good price? Amazon wants $32. and I need 2.

Gonna hit the TP and P towel supplies as we are very low. Need to finish batteries too.
Also thinking about portable toilets too.

Amazon has the best prices I have seen on BOB's. Try not to get huge BOB,s because you will only fill them up with stuff you dont really need, and they will get too heavy to hike with for long distances. Pack only the essentials, fire starting device, food, water, shelter, compass, and first aid. A BOB is only to carry the essentials to survive for 72 hours in case you are lost or stranded, so pack accordingly.
Be sure to get some good compact survival blankets ( mylar reflective ), and plastic poncho's for when it rains. A tarp for shelter, A good knife, folding saw, and MRE's for food. Any prescription meds need to be considered as well!

No but thanks. I meant to say the water bags for the tub. 100gallon w/ siphon. Amazon seems best on that w/ free shipping.

Hit Big Lots -12 6pk of Paper towels. (322 ft/$3.71 plus tx. after 20%). I guess this weekend is 20% off too.
    2 mineral oil
    12 transister batteries
    12 D batteries
3 bottles of 2.3oz dried onions

    Dollar store
    2 tide bars
    more batteries

    So slow progress.

What kind of birds did you get ?
I picked up Ameracaunas chicks for the niece last spring there.
Out of 12 birds, 10 were boys. I was not impressed. NEVER again.
I prefer to raise my own replacements from my original flock we started.

Our local store is doing their annual sale now and I'll be going over on Friday (& Sat probably) to pick up lots of supplies. They also had tons of #10 cans of dehydrated good on great sales and good buckets and water containers (of which I need a lot). I'm hoping to get quite a bit. I wish i could go today, but I don't get paid until Friday. Bummer. wish me luck. I'm just hoping they aren't sold out of all the good stuff before I get there!
Made my first trip to the case lot sales today. I didn't have dh with me to help haul the heavy stuff. So, I kept it simple.
    150 lbs of sugar
    10 5 gallon storage buckets
    3 5 gallon water containers

Going back for more when I have some help. I was very excited about the storage buckets because they are usually $9 here, and they were on sale for $3.99.

I bought another 300 gallon water tank so I have 600 gallon capacity. I have paid 60 bucks so far, plus the two 55 gallon drums I bought.I think we gave seven dollars each for those.I went to an auction with my daughter and I bought a butter churn and two small stained glass windows from an old store. The windows aren't really a prep but they may come in handy and they were cheerful.

We've been putting together bugout bags. Dh wanted not only what we have in the house but a bag for each of us in both cars.
We are also trying to come up with a plan on how to meet up with our daughter should something happen. She is out on her own now and lives 100 miles away. I can't imagine not being able to get to her but I guess that is a very good possibility and so we are trying to figure out a way where we could get to her or her to us if necessary!
