Got my new BOB in the mail - a Maxpedition Falcon II, filled it (not yet organised) and organised the boot (trunk) of my car. The bag is a bit smaller than I expected, but that's probably not a bad thing. It'll force me to keep it light.

Also got my wire saw and a right angle torch (flashlight) in the mail, and expecting a whole bunch of other stuff including a medic roll. Will give the saw a test on a camping trip.

Also bought 27m (almost 90ft) of braided rope for general use, and am expanding my car equipment to include a "comfort kit" which has items like changes of clothing/shoes, blanket (not a critical item here in my hot climate, but nice on cold winter nights), sunglasses, hat, toiletries, etc.

Finally, I ordered some seat organisers for the back of my front car seats.

Feels good to finally be somewhat organised. I used to be in a rescue organisation here and we had to keep a "go bag" in the car in case of emergency call-outs. I haven't been this organised since then.
