Aquatainers...how do you clean them??
I have two aquatainers that I would like to store water in but then need a good cleaning out. The opening isn't big enough to get my arm down in there so I'm not sure how to go about cleaning them. I thought about putting some bleach water in for a while and letting it sit and then rinsing it out. Any ideas?

What material are they made from, plastic or glass?

Aquatainers are blue plastic and are intended for potable water.
They can be disinfected the same as an RV fresh water tank, only easier. Fill with a water/bleach solution and let stand a couple of hours, then empty and flush with fresh water.
If you need to, you may be able to make a long brush from a clean, new toilet bowl brush from the dollar store. Cut one end of the brush free from the handle and bend it so it'll go into all the corners of the Aquatainer. I used to use a brush like that I shaped to clean the water bottle for our pet water dish.
