jericho on netflix
On another forum, somebody mentioned the tv series Jericho. I missed it in 2006. I remember why. That was the year I turned off the tv for a year. So, I missed this show. Does anyone remember this show?
I think some things are off and maybe not possible but it does give you a good scenario of what could happen. Like.....I need duct tape and lots of it!! LOL!!
Any other survival shows anyone can recommend??

Jericho quickly became a 2nd season soap opera, and the ending was absolutely horrible. The first season was good though.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
Greebo(Nerd Spender): Loving and extremely patiently tolerated husband of ceashels.
WARNING: Y Chromosome behind the keyboard. Adjust your listening filters appropriately!
ThreeTwo mortgages, twooneno car loans, oneno credit cards, and a partridge in pear tree!

Don't hate me Greebo, but I really liked that show. Even though it was soap operaish it helped open my eyes to what could happen.

I just liked the show period, not just as a doom and gloom. I do agree tho that the first season was the best.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Interesting, I feel almost the opposite. It started out great, then started to stagnate in the middle of the first season. I had a hard time putting up with topics like a student party and not everyone getting invited. I felt the second season picked up immensely, with the ending being acceptable, especially with what they had to go on.
As an aside, using the highways that intersect at Jericho in the real world, I grew up in the same spot. We could not see the mountains, at all.

I guess I didn't even address the OPs topic.
Dual Survival is available now, which is based on survival techniques.

Uh... are we talking about the same show? Small town survives a nuclear holocaust?
BTW I hated the ending because I have my pilots certificate and from a pilots eyes, that last minute daring flight into Texas airspace was just hideous... putting a Lear in a barrel roll... oi vey.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

I love Jericho! I just started watching the whole show over again. They just came out with a "season three" graphic novel that picks up where the show left off.
Sorry, don't know of any other comparable shows. I probably wouldn't watch anyway, since Skeet Ulrich wouldn't be in it.~Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.~

Yeah, we're talking about the same show. I guess I wasn't really into the WB/TeenTV aspect of the first season. As far as the barrel roll, I can't really comment, except that it's just as laughable to watch "hackers" do their thing when you have any idea of how computers work.

Yeah, it's actually called Jericho season 3. I guess there's a whole series of them. I was thinking they were new, but I guess some of them have been out awhile.
