Thumbs up MAGAZINE REVIEW - Back Home (guide to Sustainable Living)

When I was in Kamloops this past weekend, I stopped at Cole's book store and found this wonderful magazine Back Home, your hands-on guide to Sustainable Living. Here is their website with the magazine I purchased. http://www.backhomemagazine.com/

The magazine is well done, with lots of information. There are few advertisements (which I love in a magazine) and there are some wonderful recipes in the magazine.

A great read for homesteaders and those wanting to live the self-sufficient life.

You might like Backwoods Home too. They have a website. I THINK it's Backwoodshome, com, but I am not positive.

Lisa, Countryside & Small Stock Journal is my absolute favorite.
http://www.countrysidemag.com/ You can get a sample copy sent to you.

I haven't read Mother Earth News in a long time.

This new magazine has lots of great articles in it and VERY FEW ads, which I really like. The articles are well done and so is there website. Its very reasonable in price $4.95 (US), $5.95 (CDN). Countryside you can't purchase from a bookstand which does annoy me a bit.
