Stay connected in times of trouble with this site
CaringBridge offers free, easy-to-create web sites that help connect friends and family when they need it most.
CaringBridge is one of the sites that helped keep families connected during & after the latest Hurricains. Visitors can create a site to post notes and pictures for family to read. And it isn't one-sided: Family members can use the guestbook to reply.

It's so funny that you posted this today. I just learned about it yesterday when on OL friend's niece had a site started for her. (I'm waiting for er to let me know if it will be okay to post her story here.)
Thanks!
