Default How well did you do with your April challenges?

Finally, finally, finally stayed within my grocery budget!!

We ate out 4 of the 30 days in April.
I added $50 to the EF.
    I saved $39.36 in coupons.
I added to my change jars.

I had budgeted $500 for groceries and I spent $497.41! I went over by $93.81 in January, over by $40.06 in February and over by $18.86 in March. I did a little stockpiling this month. Very little. I want to work more on stockpiling in May since food is just going to continue to rise in price.

Hope everyone has a Marvelous May!

I was $11.90 over for groceries I think. I did really good on the EF...goal was $100, but I managed to get the EF balance up to $1000!!!

I started midway through April and can say.. I did well for the time I had to prepare.
Grocery: I was $90 over for the total month of April. Not bad considering my avg monthly bill was $800

For EF: $0- can't work on that until I pay down my CC

For debt reduction: I was able to pay down $2271 on my $6071 CC balance. Leaves about $3800 balance. Which is exceptional.

For Christmas Challenge: I was not able to contribute to this in April- I had joined too late.

For the homemade Christmas Challenge: I was able to nearly complete 2 lap quilts. It's a start.

I was over my grocery budget of $450 by almost $50. Not too terribly bad but still...I added quite a bit to my stockpile.

I added $100 to my vacation fund.

We ate out WAY too much.

I didn't have nearly as many "no spend" days as I normally do.
