Default Okay Ladies, I Need A Little Help

I have a case of chicken noodle soup. It isn't exactly the favorite soup here b/c it's a little on the bland side with not alot of chicken or noodles. What can I add to it other than more chicken or more noodles to dress it up?

Add fresh or frozen cooked broccoli. Perhaps use a couple of cans in casseroles or with a whole baked chicken. Also some grated cheese and crackers. You cook also try some potatoes or cauliflower. Hope that helps.

Some onion and garlic for more flavor, and some rosemary.

Maybe you could thicken it up with a flour/butter base (like making gravy, but using soup instead of broth) and serve it over mashed taters....?

You could add some cut up veggies (carrots, onions, celery) and add some homemade dumplings.

Sometimes I will use chicken noodle soup in the crockpot and simmer chicken breast or even boneless pork chops in it. It's delish.

Get out a bag of mixed veggies and add a bit more seasoning (but not more salt!).

Add more chicken , add rice, or I like to drain the liquid and use the noodles for filling in mini pot pies.

I use a tube of biscuits , split each biscuit in half .
press half the biscuit into a muffin pan and put a spoon full of soup mix minus the broth into each muffin then put the other half on top. Sprinkle with olive oil or butter and a dash of Italian seasoning maybe some parmasean (sp?) cheese if you have it. Bake according to biscuit directions.

Try putting into a homemade soup or stew, I have done this when they ask for broth, just put the soup in, and at less water. It works every time and plus there is the added bonus of a few extra noodles and chicken. Other than that, check on-line for some ideas.

You could try adding a can of mixed veggies & then adding some poultry seasoning to give it a little more flavor...

Make it Italian, add canned chopped tomatoes, oregano and some basil. I like veg all so I would throw that in too just to beef it up a bit.

You could add a can of cream of chicken or mushroom soup, a bit of milk & some veggies.
Found this in an old Campbells Soup Cookbook

    Chicken Corn Chowder
1 (10 3/4oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10 3/4oz) can condensed chicken noodle soup
    2 soup cans milk
    1 can (16oz) creamed corn
    1 c diced cooked chicken
blend soups & milk, add rest & heat through

Use it in place of the liquid when making rice, add whatever extra seasoning you like.
