Let's talk tp...
Can't quite believe I'm writing this!
We've used the Scott original 1-ply 1000-sheets kind for years on end
but I'm tired of doing the "wait for a sale then stock up" routine. I can't always get to the sale, or have the money for a 20-roll pack, or have the space to store it all.
I'd love to switch to an equivalent store brand that's a reasonable price (say, less than 60 cents a roll) all the time.
Can anybody recommend one? Especially if there's a good kind where I shop already--including at Aldi, Save a Lot, Target, Walmart, Shoprite, Pathmark, or Walgreens.
Thanks!

I usually just buy the 24pk Target TP which costs me $.45/roll. Works fine for me. I really don't care what it is as long as it's not rippled (it's hard to bunch).

I've found the Walgreens 1000 sheet brand is pretty comparable. I stock up on those when they have them 2/$1 (individual rolls).
I've had pretty good luck bouncing between deals on the Walgreen's brand, Scott, and Price Chopper's 1000-sheet brand.

I usually buy the store brand tp, 1 ply 1000 sheet rolls and I think they are $5 for a 12 pk.

I buy whatever is on sale for the cheapest amount of money or store brand. I am not picky about the tp, in fact we have a stockpile of Angel Soft and Charmin when I was able to stock up good sales around 18 cents a roll. Once we run out it's back to sales or store brands

I'm a diehard Scott's fan also but I too am looking for alternatives. Seems the tp has gotten a lot rougher lately.
I'll check out some the suggestions here.
Thanks ladies.

We buy our TP at Sam's Club and use Member's Mark. I don't know if they would have an equal brand at Walmart or not.

It almost has to be Scott's here. Kmart sometimes has a great sale around 5 bucks for 24. The CVS and the dollar store ones are too bad. I just don't like any other brands.lol

I have tried the Wal-Mart brand of white cloud, works really well for us!! Plus, the toliet paper doesn't stick to the end of the tube, so you can actually use ALL of the toliet paper, instead of wasting the little bit at the end of the roll because of the glue stuff!!

We are Scotts users here too. Dh would never have another brand in the house. I usually get it at the Dollar General if I can not find it on sale. I cut the budget someplace else
