Default How do you make your gourmet coffee?

I'm drinking some gourmet coffee and it's really good. I used Kona blend coffee grounds for rmy coffee. Then I put 1 tbsp. of International Delights Vanilla Creamer and a scoop of vanilla icecream in it.

Sure beats paying around $3.00-$4.00+ for coffee at my favorite coffee shop. By the way, it's NOT Starbucks. Their coffee is gross.

I rather spend $20.00 a month on movie rentals than $30.00 a month at a coffee shop.

It depends on my mood....but this is my usual....

Strong coffee made in my pot at home
2-3 Tbs. creamer flavored (either store bought w/ coupons--I NEVER pay full price! or see my recipe below)
    1-2 tsp. real vanilla
    ice

Add all in blender, add 1/2 - 3/4 cup skim milk. Blend well. YUMMY!

    My own recipe for creamer:

    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    2 tsp real vanilla
    1 cup skim milk

blend well and keep in refrigerator. use w/in a week or so.

I hardly every buy coffee anywhere anymore!

    I make Mexican coffee.

Add 1 tsp. cocoa and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon to your coffee grounds. When it's done brewing, sweeten it to your taste and top with whipped cream. Dee-lish!

Oh my goodness, I just tried the Mexican coffee with a coffee alternative that I use called Teeccino which brews just like regular ground coffee and is decaffinated. Anyway, I just had to say, it is DIVINE!!! Thank you so much....keep the coffee drink ideas coming!!!

I use my espresso machine and make about 2-3 ounces of that (but strong brewed coffee would work). Then I mix is as followed for "iced coffees":

    Iced Cappucino
    2-3 ounces espresso
    10 ounces milk
spoonful of sugar (or to taste)

    Iced Vanilla Cappucino
    2-3 ounces of espresso
1 ounce liquid french vanilla creamer
    9 ounces of milk

    Iced Mocha
    2-3 ounces of espresso
    10 ounces of chocolate milk

DH and I love them. We never buy from a coffee house anymore, we can just go home and make them ourselves and they are just as good!

    This is my recipe:

    6 scoops grounds
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp Vanilla extract

    Makes 12 cups

I make up batches of this to give for XMas gifts.

I forgot to add how many grounds I use.

For a 10 or 12-cup coffee machine, I use 1/2 cup of grounds
For a 4-cup coffee machine, I use 1/4 cup grounds

    I like mine strong!
