I think I miss everything associated with childhood. I really miss the sense of awe and wonder that you have when you are a child... you know how so much is yet undiscovered and it is so delightful and wonderful to discover everything. Even little things like finding that perfect rock to add to your rock collection. And the most exciting day of the year when my brothers and I were young... Christmas. Oh the joy and wonders of that night and Day! I enjoyed living it through my children as well. Mine are 19 and 17 now and it's not the same as the wee ones that still believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. I miss all that sort of thing.

I don't miss anything either except not paying bills.
I was also bullied and abused so I don't miss the family life at all.
It was great fun reading about those of you that have happy memories though!Living Single and Loving it!

I miss those long summer days lying outside in the sun reading books. And swinging.

My mom's cooking. I miss the smells, watching her cook, and of course the taste, and the comfort.

I miss being able to be barefoot and dirty and it was ok because you were a kid! Now, I just get funny looks from the neighbors when I am making mud pies.....lol.

I miss my dad. He died May 31 of brain cancer. As a kid, I remember thinking "my dad is the best daddy in the world."

Honestly, I miss being with my sisters and brother every day.
Why is it when they finally got cool, I moved out from home?
We get together as much as we can, but everyone is so busy with families and etc.
And I miss my mom's cooking and baking, and her just being there.______

I miss laying in the grass looking up at the clouds and seeing shapes of things in them and not even careing that there might be bugs crawling on me (haha).
I really miss my Dad. I used to love standing on his feet and him dancing me around.
