    1) Talking about people who aren't there to defend themselves. Whether it's neighbours, friends, celebrities, or people I don't know, I'm not interested in what other people are doing wrong. This goes double for conversations about other people's inferior parenting skills.

    2) "Reality" television. I was briefly interested in the Amazing Race when it was actually about the race. I can't think of anything less entertaining than watching a bunch of strangers and pseudo celebrities acting like ignorant brats, except perhaps talking about it afterwards.

Hair, nails, shoes, latest fashions, etc. I'm interested in looking nice. I wear makeup and style my hair, but I get it done and don't give it a second thought. I find it incredibly boring when friends go on and on about their latest purse, manicure, etc.

I hate to read through instruction manuals...even for board games. I lose interest real quick. I make my hubby do it.

I also find people who incessantly talk about themselves to be extremely boring. I go out of my way to avoid people like that.

How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

Soap operas, celebrities, and gossip. Pretty much sums up politics too.

I agree with Sassyclass, I have enough in my life who cares about their drama.

Reading anything out of our quality manual (ISO 9001 standard). It is really a struggle to slog though even though I realize how important it is for my job and our business as a whole. Even listening to it provokes thought of what to make for dinner tonight and I wonder when the last time I watched Alf was...

    Sports...including Nascar.

My favorite topics are religion and politics. (No, I'm not very popular. LOL.)

For me it is not a particular topic. It is a person who drones on and on and on about herself. And then I did this wonderful thing...and she told me what a terrific job I did, when are you taking your vacation?(does not wait for an answer)...I am going to lala land, I bought the cutest dress! Deep sigh

Oh sports is a good one. And any sort of debate.
