Default What can I do with dried out cornbread?

I forgot to set the timer and my cornbread turned out very dry.

Do you have any ideas what I can do with it? Besides throw it away.

I ate a piece for dinner/dessert with maple syrup in it but it was still dry.

You could throw it in the freezer and then pull it out and add some bread, celery and onions and seasoning the make stuffing.

    OOOOOOOO I KNOW THIS ONE...lol
I posted a creation a while back. I took a can of chicken (or any chicken shredded would work. ) a little celery a little onion. A boulion cube and enough warm water. Mix everything together into a stuffing consistency and then bake.. You could even add cheese, cool casserole....

There's another recipe using day-old cornbread and Ranch dressing. You kind of make it into a salad I think I saw it on a bottle of Ranch. Maybe try googling it - guess I'm not much help am I? Good luck!

You could grind it up and use as bread crumbs. Would probably make some good breading. Maybe a savory corn bread pudding.

You can mix it in with pinto beans and onions, yummy! The bean sauce will make it moist.
