Default I think Hurricanes follow me

OK - I lived through Hurricane Andrew, Charlie and many more, then I had a direct hit with Hurricane Wilma in Florida. I move to Maine and now, we have a hurricane gonna hit Maine. WTH? Can I NOT get away from Hurricanes?

Donna, stay safe! From the reports it looks like the coastal areas will be hardest hit, but still hoping you make it through with minimal impact/

I was just saying the other day luckly I live in Maine we get blizzards not hurricanes. Sorry to jinx us. Hubby and I live on the penisula right on the coast but looking at the tracker it will not make landfall near us so we should be fine

How far inland is it expected to reach? Trying to find a map, I have family in the Bangor area...so I am on pins and needles.

The last update it's supposed to be a rain event if you are inland. That's good. I have to drive to Portland ME early tomorrow morning and I hope it's not too rainy. I just can't believe that a Hurricane came up here - it very VERY rarely happens. I think the hurricanes are following me. lol

So far itts 3:30 and all we have gotten is a ton of rain. And as far as I can tell my metal roof flashing repair they did on my shingle roof is holding. There's no water on my table, tomorrow I will check up in the attic to make sure everything is dry. My frog pond though is getting closer to my house. But my sump pump is working with out having to kick it.
Looks like we will be ok

If we're exchanging weather, could we maybe have just a little snow in Louisiana this year? Maybe just enough for a day or two off from work? We all shut down with very little on the ground.

Seriously, hope you're all safe and don't flood or blow away.

    I say....

    BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!

Kyle is nothing more than a summer Nor'Easter with a name, the wind is the same and it's rain instead of feet of snow and piercing ice.
